  • 1526: Mughal Emperor Babur becomes the Sultan of Delhi.
  • 1606: Shahzada Khusro is arrested by Emperor Jahangir. khusro declared a rebellion on 6 April.
  • 1662: Netherlands and France sign the military treaty.
  • 1848: The University of Calcutta gave the first approval to women for eligibility in the field of university education.
  • 1945: In the Second World War, the forces of America, Britain, and the Soviet Union united against the forces of Nazi leader Hitler. The first meeting between the US and USSR armies took place on the banks of the River Elbe in Germany.
  • 1960: National Defence College started in New Delhi.

  • 2018: Historic Korean Summit: Kim Jong-un of North Korea and Moon Jae-in of South Korea agreed to officially end the Korean War and rid the peninsula of Nuclear Weapons.
  • 2020: Reserve Bank of India RBI announced liquidity assistance of Rs 50,000 Crore for mutual funds (MF). The RBI move came after Franklin Templeton’s to close 6 debt funds and was held indefinitely.
  • 2020: Union ministry of development of North Eastern Religion (DoNER) Jitendra Singh informed that 5 of the northeastern state were completely Coronavirus free. The five Covid-19 free States include Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Nagaland the remaining 3 states are Assam Meghalaya and Mizoram confirmed 8, 11, and 1 respectively which were later cured.
  • 2020: United Kingdom finance minister Rishi Sunak unveils a 100 percent state-backed ‘bounce back loan schema’ to help small businesses during the Coronavirus epidemic lockdown.
  • 2020: UK Chancellor of Indian origin unveils the Fast-track finance Schema in the house of commons. He said this would help enhance the current package of support available to product UK businesses in the health and economic crisis.
